We are so pleased to announce that the Kentucky Humane Society are our first charitable partner for our Key Source Gives Back program! If you missed our announcement from a couple of weeks ago, the “Key Source Gives Back” is our charitable giving program that is aimed to give back to a community that has helped to shape our real estate team and culture.
Five percent of all of the money earned from real estate transactions will be donated to local non-profit organizations, the first of which is Kentucky Humane Society. By working with the Key Source Team in the sale or purchase of a home, you are directly supporting some of our community’s most amazing charities.
So, why the Kentucky Humane Society? I am proud to say that all of our pets are rescues and we have a deep place in our hearts for the work of all related charities, but particularly the Kentucky Humane Society.
Like many others in the state and across the nation, our hearts were captured by the story of Ethan. Ethan was dumped dying at the Kentucky Humane Society on January 29. But against all odds – Ethan, whose name means "enduring" and "long lived" in Hebrew – not only survived, but he is now a happy, healthy dog who has become a symbol of hope and love for so many. This inspiring story was enough for us to be sure that we wanted to work with this amazing organization.
We are delighted to partner with the Kentucky Humane Society and are excited to give our future real estate clients an opportunity to give back to such an amazing organization.
